Customizing Your Lamborghini: Colors, Wheels, and Carbon Fiber

You customize a Lamborghini mainly through Ad Personam, the brand's bespoke personalization program. The main areas are exterior color (standard or custom finishes), wheels (designs and finishes), carbon fiber (exterior and interior components), and the interior (leather, Alcantara, stitching, and trim). Together these options let buyers build a car so personal that no two need look alike.

How Lamborghini customization works

Specifying a Lamborghini is a big part of the ownership experience, and most of it runs through Ad Personam — Lamborghini's bespoke program for going beyond the standard options. At its simplest, you pick from factory colors, wheels, and trims. At its fullest, Ad Personam lets you commission custom paint, special finishes, bespoke interiors, and personal details, working with the factory to create something unique. The result is that two Lamborghinis of the same model can look completely different — which is exactly the point for buyers who want their car to be theirs alone.

Here are the main areas you'll customize.

The four main areas of customization

Most Lamborghini personalization falls into these categories:

• Exterior color — standard palette shades or custom Ad Personam finishes, including matte and multi-tone. (See our dedicated paint colors guide.
• Wheels — different wheel designs, sizes, and finishes to change the car's stance and style.
• Carbon fiber — exterior packages (mirrors, splitters, diffusers) and interior trim that cut weight and add drama.
• Interior — leather and Alcantara colors, contrast stitching, seat styles, and personalized details.

Beyond these, buyers can add personal touches like custom badging or embroidery through Ad Personam.

Colors: the biggest statement

Color is the first and most impactful choice. Lamborghini's standard palette already includes shades most brands wouldn't dare, and Ad Personam opens up custom colors, satin and matte finishes, and two-tone schemes. It's the decision that most defines how the car reads — bold and loud, or dark and sophisticated. Because it matters so much and shifts so dramatically in real light, color deserves the most thought of any option. Our most exclusive Lamborghini paint colors guide goes deeper on the palette and Ad Personam finishes.

Wheels and carbon fiber: style and substance

Wheels change a Lamborghini's whole stance — different designs and finishes (gloss, matte, bronze, black, diamond-cut) dramatically alter the look, and are one of the most popular customization choices. Carbon fiber does double duty: exterior carbon packages (mirror caps, splitters, engine covers) and interior trim both look purposeful and save weight, which is why performance-focused buyers choose them. The two together — a distinctive wheel paired with tasteful carbon — are often what separates a thoughtfully specced Lamborghini from a merely optioned one.

The spec sheet that became a signature

A buyer once agonized over a build for weeks — a specific green, bronze wheels, a carbon roof, tan leather with green stitching. Friends thought it was overthinking a car. But when it arrived, every choice spoke together: it didn't look optioned, it looked designed, unmistakably that owner's car. Months later, people still recognized it on sight. That's what good customization does — it turns a model everyone can buy into a car only one person has. The restraint to make choices that work together matters as much as the boldness to make them at all.

Customizing vs. just driving one

All of this personalization is part of the joy of owning a Lamborghini — but it's worth remembering you don't need to spec a bespoke build to experience the cars. If you're drawn to Lamborghini for the drive, the sound, and the presence rather than the ownership project, renting lets you enjoy exactly that, often in cars with desirable specs already chosen. FYV delivers Lamborghini rentals to you, so you can experience a beautifully specced Lamborghini without commissioning one.
