How to Rent a Lamborghini by the Hour

To rent a Lamborghini by the hour, you choose a model, pick your time slot, pass a quick identity and eligibility check, and the car is delivered to you for the booked window. Hourly or short rentals suit photo shoots, proposals, and "bucket-list" drives where you don't need the car all day. Most providers set a minimum number of hours, a mileage allowance, and a refundable deposit.

Can you really rent a Lamborghini by the hour?

Yes — short, by-the-hour (or half-day) Lamborghini rentals exist, and they're popular for exactly the moments where you don't need a full day behind the wheel. The key thing to know up front is that almost every provider sets a minimum booking, usually a few hours rather than a single one, because delivering, prepping, and collecting an exotic takes time. So "by the hour" in practice usually means a short block of hours, not literally sixty minutes. Once you understand that, hourly rental is simple — and often the most sensible way to tick a Lamborghini off your list.

How hourly Lamborghini rental works

The process is quick and, with a delivery-based company, counter-free:

• Pick the car and time slot — choose your Lamborghini and the window you want it.
• Verify your eligibility — valid license, minimum age (typically 25), and a payment card in your name.
• Place the deposit — a refundable hold covers the car during your booking.
• Take delivery — the detailed, fueled car is brought to you at the agreed time and place.
• Enjoy your window — drive within the agreed area and mileage allowance.
• Hand it back — return it on time in the same condition, and the deposit is released.

That's the whole flow. The only parts worth planning are the minimum hours, the mileage cap, and your return time.

What does it cost to rent a Lamborghini for a few hours?

Hourly and short rentals are priced from the model's day rate, so the per-hour figure reflects the car you choose and the length of the block. A short booking won't be one-sixth of a day rate — the delivery, prep, and collection costs are built in — but it's still far cheaper than a full day when you only need a couple of hours. Expect a minimum charge rather than a true single-hour price. For current figures, see our pricing or request a quote.

When renting by the hour makes the most sense

A short Lamborghini booking is ideal when the car is for a specific moment rather than a trip. Photo and video shoots are the classic case — you need the car for a controlled window, not a weekend. Proposals and surprises work the same way: the car appears for the big moment and leaves. So do "always wanted to drive one" bucket-list experiences, where a few hours on a good road is the whole point. If instead you're planning a weekend away or a multi-stop event, a full-day or weekend rate will give you better value — our guide on pricing and packages (anchor: "pricing and packages") lays out the options.

A proposal that needed exactly two hours

Someone planning to propose wanted the Lamborghini for one perfect stretch — pick up their partner, drive to the overlook, and have the car gleaming in the background of the photos. They didn't need it for a day; they needed it for two hours, at golden hour, on one road. A short hourly booking did precisely that: the car arrived detailed and ready, played its part in the moment, and was collected afterward. No wasted day rate, no logistics — just the car, for exactly as long as the moment required. That's the quiet case for renting by the hour.

What to check before you book a short rental

Before you lock in an hourly Lamborghini, confirm a few things so there are no surprises: the minimum booking length, the mileage allowance for your window (short bookings often have tighter caps), the deposit amount and release timing, the delivery area and any fee beyond it, and the age and license requirements. Our Lamborghini rental requirements guide covers eligibility in full.
